
Lynn is an experienced mediator whose specialist field is helping people to resolve disputes in the workplace. When conflict arises between colleagues or between manager and staff, or teams, or board and executive, a variety of processes are available. It is important to select the right one to get the best outcomes. And the outcomes need to be sustainable, not simply quick fixes.
Lynn is also a designer and facilitator of dialogues, a process in which people with diverse views meet to discuss matters which are of mutual interest but about which they disagree. The aim here is not to change views but to increase understanding of the views of others. Lynn is often asked to facilitate such discussions following a complaint, an investigation or a disciplinary matter when parties need to overcome division, return to work and find new rules of engagement. This work enables people to ask difficult questions, show courage, talk and listen respectfully, and understand how others are affected.
Clients benefit from the wisdom, warmth and challenge that Lynn brings to her work. Lynn also works on Learning Organisation projects with clients, building expertise in leadership, planning, coaching, performance management, and engaging stakeholders.
